About Us

Frog Noggin is a small puzzle site which aims to build original daily puzzles that you can't find anywhere else.

New daily puzzles are released every day at midnight New York time (Eastern Time).

Percentile statistics for solve time are shown only for "perfect" solves (no hints or mistakes) and if the current level has been solved by at least 20 people perfectly.

Each game page has an internal timer tracking your completion time. This timer will pause after 20 minutes of inactivity.

Neighbors

Our first game, Neighbors is pure logic deduction puzzle where you have to return cats and dogs to their homes by following the clues at each step. There is one unique solution for each map.

This is a step-wise puzzle where you are presented with a pool of information to both deduce what is known and how much is known at the current step.

To make the most of the game, please take a look at the definitions presented on the side of the game page, as language can often be logically ambiguous!

Share your results with friends! Both your solve time and progress through the puzzle can be shared.

Currently, levels are not scheduled by difficulty (e.g. Monday-Sunday -> Easy-Hard). We simply schedule for an even spread of difficulty. Please be aware that while we do try our best to give accuruate difficulty ratings, difficulty is still a subjective thing!

Level difficulties include:

Neighbors LITE

We have also made a LITE version of Neighbors where all clues are presented to you at once. This version is meant to challenge your speed at returning all animals home, as the time frame of the gameplay will generally be much more condensed.

You may find this version to be harder (as there is more information fit into a smaller set of clues), or perhaps easier (as you no longer need to deduce what information is known).

Frogscotch

Coming soon is Frogscotch which is a grid-based bounce-collision puzzle! Weโ€™re still working on some bouncing animations but hereโ€™s a sneak preview!
